Particle is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to help accelerate the growth of the most widely used Internet of Things software platform in the market. We are looking for passionate and authentic sales professionals who can use strategic problem solving to solve our customers’ future problems. As an early member of our sales team, you should be comfortable with ambiguity and have an appetite to help iterate our constantly evolving sales process.
- Manage and close complex, multi-year deals encompassing hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
- Create and execute business plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals, deliver accurate forecasts and create reports/dashboards in SFDC.
- Understand prospective customers’ business models, uncover challenges, build opportunity development plans, and partner with internal resources to close deals.
- Partner with sales development to create opportunities.
- Develop and nurture your book of business through prospecting and regular customer visits.
- At least 5 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of selling large scale and complex systems performance ideally with experience selling large scale and complex systems.
- Experience selling IoT solutions (preferred) or predictive maintenance, data analytics, or similarly complex technical products.
- Experience identifying and navigating multiple stakeholders across different departments and seniority levels.
- High-energy, dedication, and persistence throughout the 6-18 month sales cycle.
- Superior written and verbal skills and an ability to craft and deliver presentations that engage both technical and business audiences.
- Experience working for a high-growth stage startup.
