Ondas Networks Releases Scalable MC-IoT Platform for Critical Infrastructure at IWCE Expo 2019

IoT For All

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Feb. 28, 2019 — Ondas Holdings Inc., (OTCQB: ONDS) through its wholly owned subsidiary, Ondas Networks Inc., a developer of private licensed wireless data networks for mission-critical industrial markets, today announced the release of its enhanced FullMAX radio architecture for highly scalable Mission Critical IoT (MC-IoT) networks at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) 2019 from March 6-7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.

The Ondas FullMAX software defined radio (SDR) platform, which is the basis for the new industrial IEEE 802.16s wireless standard, will now support both narrow and wide channels ranging from 12.5 kHz up to 10 MHz. The expanded capability for narrow channels provides critical infrastructure with the ability to introduce MC-IoT applications and edge computing capabilities over existing legacy unused or underutilized Land Mobile Radio (LMR) channels.

The enhanced platform also allows for future scalability as more frequencies become available and will enable the aggregation of non-adjacent channels for even greater throughput. These capabilities, combined with FullMAX’s time division duplexing, provide the highest capacity upstream data networks for mission critical entities while utilizing existing network infrastructure.

“Similar to voice networks, critical infrastructure has special challenges for IoT applications. There are distinct requirements for increased security, availability and reliability, and through the FullMAX platform, we are meeting these needs and enabling data communications for MC-IoT,” said Suresh Palliparambil, Chief Revenue Officer at Ondas Networks. “The upcoming IWCE 2019 show is an enormous opportunity for us to demonstrate the value of our FullMAX technology for mission-critical entities looking to incorporate MC-IoT and edge computing into their operations. We look forward to presenting our expanded capabilities at the show.”

The enhanced FullMAX architecture comes shortly after the launch of the Company’s new Ondas Labs, a partnership program and innovation lab for advanced edge computing and connectivity in mission-critical applications. Ondas Labs will offer vendor partners and their customers access to additional processing resources able to host new computing applications at the network’s edge using the FullMAX platform.

IWCE 2019 is a premier event for critical communications, featuring the latest products, equipment and technology from over 400 exhibitors. The FullMAX solution will be exhibited at the Ondas Networks booth, #1533 located in the main aisle.
