Ezlo Innovation Launches the Atom, the Smallest, Most Affordable Smart Home Hub on the Market

-

Ezlo Innovation, a global leader in the development of smart solutions for homes and businesses, today announced the Atom — the newest addition to its Vera product line. Packed with power and easy to use, the Atom plugs directly into any USB power adapter and enables users to control Z-Wave and Wi-Fi devices via the intuitive Vera mobile app.

“We want to broaden the consumer base for home automation,” said Mark Samuel, CEO of Ezlo Innovation. “The Atom delivers total home control in a form factor that everyone is familiar with, which makes it more approachable than the traditional hubs that are literal black boxes. And at just $29.95 — less than half the cost of most other solutions on the market — it will open the idea of home automation to many who may not have previously considered it.”

The Atom represents the next generation of Vera home controllers and is the first product released since Ezlo Innovation acquired the company last year. Smaller, wireless, and more affordable, the Atom gives homeowners unified control of smart devices like lights, door locks, sensors, switches and more.

According to IDC research, the smart home industry is poised for 26.9% year-over-year growth in 2019 with sustained growth of nearly 17% through 2023. As consumers look to add multiple devices throughout their homes, more businesses are looking to offer smarter solutions, too.

The Atom is an ideal IoT gateway for businesses. In addition to its simplicity and affordability, it runs on Ezlo’s state-of-the-art MiOS cloud platform, which features a distributed architecture of auto-scaled microservices for greater speed, performance, and scale. Leveraging Ezlo’s hardware, cloud, and software-based services, businesses can reduce their time to market and quickly evolve their business for a more connected future.

This announcement follows Ezlo Innovation’s acquisitions of Centralite SystemsVera Control, and Fortrezz. The Ezlo Atom is now available for preorder. To learn more, please visit https://getvera.com/products/ezlo-atom.
