KUWAIT - The automotive giant General Motors (GM) and its technology partner Airlinq Inc., announced the launch of pioneering in-vehicle safety & security technology in Kuwait to reinforce their vision of Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions, and Zero Congestion.

Airlinq has partnered with STC to provide underlying connectivity in the vehicle allowing GM brands, Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac, to roll out a suite of connected services around safety, security, convenience, and innovation. Customers will be able to choose from a range of services as per their needs such as Automatic Crash Response, Emergency Services, Stolen Vehicle Assistance, Vehicle Diagnostics, Remote Key Fob functions, and Wi-Fi to name a few.

"This partnership with Airlinq will enable us to deliver localized connected vehicle services to help our customers stay better connected with their vehicles and making driving more convenient and safe," said Gary West, Managing Director OnStar Middle East and Head of Future Mobility at General Motors Africa and Middle East). "Powered by STC's reliable connectivity, we will be able to offer these services to our customers directly through most of our Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac vehicles," he added.
