Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corp Ltd (IRCTC), which manages the online ticketing of trains, has launched a new IRCTC Rail Connect mobile app for fast and easy rail ticket booking in August 2020. But now you can book an immediate online ticket through Rail Connect App.
Indian Railways has recently upgraded the IRCTC Rail Connect mobile app & added multiple features, which are used for online booking of railway tickets.
The upgraded e-ticketing application provides "top-in-class" features has been launched by the Indian Minister of Railways and Commerce and Industry and Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Piyush J Goyal.
Now the Indian railway users are concentrating on the design of this new world-class app for booking online train tickets. Novel user personalization features associated with user logins are included for the first time with customization for a seamless travel experience, one-stop train selection for booking, and integrated booking for food and adjustment with tickets.
Payment Transition option
THE latest IRCTC Android Mobile app offers you to pay the transition through e-Wallets, Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking. On Wallet, IRCTC supports Paytm, Mobikwik, Pay U Money, IRCTC Wallet etc. So with the help of this new generation payment system, you can do easily payment transition. Also provided a lot of offers for booking Train Ticket online.
Latest Ultimate Features of IRCTC Rail Connect Android Mobile App
At present, IRCTC has more than 6 crores, active users, on this e-ticketing web and Mobile App, it is used to book above 8 lakh tickets on daily basis. About 83% of the total reserved railway tickets are booked by this online platform.
Rail Connect App win National award for e-governance!
IRCTC Rail Connect app already wins National award for e-governance! In a bid to make train ticket booking easier, IRCTC had revamped its mobile app and relaunched it as "IRCTC Rail Connect" in 2017. The first e-ticketing Android app, the “IRCTC Connect” was launched in 2014. According to the IRCTC report, the new IRCTC Rail Connect app has been downloaded by more than 3 crore users and since January 2017.
