Comcast’s MachineQ today announced it has won the 2021 CompassIntel IoT Innovator Award in the Inventory Management & Tracking category. The award recognizes MachineQ for Enterprise Asset Management, a turnkey IoT solution for improving asset visibility, staff productivity, and equipment usage at the right cost.
By pairing LoRaWAN and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless technologies, customers can leverage more granular, indoor location accuracy of inventory and assets, longer battery life, and lower recurring costs eliminating both manual processes and the need for typical RFID-based real-time location systems (RTLS). As a result, enterprises can lower the total cost of ownership associated with asset maintenance and continue to improve the effectiveness of their asset management function.
This award continues MachineQ’s industry momentum, following the company’s 2021 IoT Evolution Business Impact Award win from TMC and Crossfire Media in August 2021.
“It’s great to see so much energy, excitement, and growth in the IoT market due to the changing dynamics in the workforce, with remote operations, and the need to have complete visibility into business operations,” says Stephanie Atkinson, CEO of Compass Intelligence. “Our 2021 award winners are innovative organizations that have demonstrated excellence and innovation with new IoT products/solutions, processes, and methods that drive IoT growth.”
The 4th Annual Compass Intelligence Awards honors and recognizes the best of the best IoT innovative companies, organizations, products, platforms, collaborations, and solutions.
“Winning our second award in three months reflects our ongoing commitment to driving adoption of low-power, wide-area IoT solutions for enterprises at scale,” said Steve Salata, Vice President and General Manager at MachineQ. “I’m very proud of the MachineQ team. We will continue to focus on innovating, serving our customers and partners, and improving our network connectivity platform and solutions for the IoT market.”
