Vilnius, Apr. 15, 2021 – Leading developers to one of the most powerful PVDF vibration energy harvesters Viezo, have celebrated over the past three weeks two major achievements.
Winning of the Great Pitch Contest
First achievement and the most astonishing recognition is winning of the Great Pitch Contest that was held by Wolves Summit 13th. Wolves Summit held a successful conference seeing 2127+ attendees from 66 countries on March 24-26, 202. Among the audience were 100+ speakers, 265 investors, 1183 startups and 337 partners confirmed to participate.
The event this year, that was hosted on Hopin, was geographically diverse. Wolves Summit has selected more than 1,000 startups to attend the event and take part in pitching competitions, workshops and masterclasses. The startup group represented 66 countries.
The Selection Process
The competition started with 100+ participants. Viezo was hand-picked among 87 impressive startups and after just two days of fierce pitching and a judging, Viezo was able to reach the finalists list. The finalists list consisted of nine astonishing startups: Aether, Subly, Viezo, Pekat Vision, MindHug, LAM’ON, Aqai, CrystalEn Semiconductor, Spin Drive.
On March 25th the shortlisted startup pitched in the Finals in front of multiple groups of VCs and tech leaders services as judges. Viezo presented its innovative solution to extend the battery lifetime reducing the maintenance needs and saving cash in the IoT industry. As a result, Viezo was selected to be the winner.
The Rejoice of Getting Acknowledged
Viezo is a startup, established in early 2018 with the idea and goal to help fourth Industrial revolution expand faster and cheaper without needing to think about powering the sensing equipment. The technology can convert vibrations into usable electricity, therefore powering sensors indefinitely which are deployed on vibrating, dynamic machinery.
Viezo is the first company in the world, commercializing the vibration energy harvesting technology within the piezoelectric PVDF material, which is environmentally friendly and low-cost. Viezo team has expressed their sincere happiness to be recognized in this competition. The Invite to Participate at RailTech Europe 2021 // LIVE
Second achievement includes the invitation Viezo received to participate at RailTech Europe 2021 // LIVE at the Tech stage on 1st of April during the session on the topic “Data analytics”. On 30 & 31 March and 1 April 2021, RailTech Europe 2021 // LIVE took place. With 8,334 rail professionals from 91 different countries; it was the biggest digital meeting place in the rail industry.
Donat Ponamariov, Founder and CEO of Viezo, explained in his online presentation the importance of vibration energy harvesting and their crucial role in boosting the development of IoT in railways. Vytautas Jaškevičius, Co-Founder of Viezo, has participated to answer all the inquiries and questions that were raised by the audience. He explained further about the technology used and the different ways of its deployment.

Viezo’s plan for 2021 is promising and full of diversified events and competitions. The development process is continuing to aim at astonishing results as to reach the company’s vision. This year, the plan includes developing custom products to Railway, Oil & Gas, Mining and other Industrial companies. Custom products include autonomous sensors and autonomous asset trackers, within embedded core technology from Viezo. At the same time, offering the company core technology to sensor OEM’s, to embed it into their own sensors.
