Berlin, Germany – February 20, 2023Weeve is proud to announce it has been named as one of STL Partners’ 100 Edge Companies to Watch in 2023, a recognition of its leadership in edge computing and exciting developments on the horizon. In addition to previous years’ requirements, this year’s list also focused on companies financial milestones associated with edge computing, and details on the practicalities of edge applications that they are enabling.

Weeve has had notable achievements in 2022, including launching the Beta version of its platform and introducing a pilot project program called 321 Connect. The company has also achieved key financial milestones, closing a seed round of €1.2 Million and securing another research investment from a public fund of €800k.

One of the edge computing use cases weeve is helping to enable is with a Swiss textile manufacturer, who faced difficulties in obtaining performance data from customers due to data regulations and processing large amounts of data with different protocols, hindering R&D efficiency. Weeve offered a secure channel for data exchange, resulting in improved business outcomes for the manufacturer, including increased customer value, engagement, and reduced defects in the quality sensors.

“We are excited to be recognized as a leader in edge computing by STL Partners. We are committed to developing innovative solutions that help our clients overcome their data privacy and processing challenges.”
