Hurley, United Kingdom – 26 January 2022 – Wireless Logic, a leading global IoT connectivity provider, today announced James Dennis as Chief Technology Officer. Dennis brings to the role over 30 years in the telecoms market including 8 years in senior positions in the IoT sector, working with companies such as Cubic Telecom and Ericsson.
In his new position, Dennis will coordinate and deliver the technical vision and strategy for Wireless Logic Group whilst managing group resources.
By appointing Dennis as CTO, Wireless Logic will be able to dedicate a higher level of focus to the rollout of crucial services that will ultimately enable Wireless Logic’s customers to benefit from increased quality of service, automation, data security and the seamless global connectivity that they require. Allowing them to take their businesses to the next level and further evolve their IoT products that are already enhancing lives and accelerating the pace of positive social, economic and environmental change across the globe.
Dennis comes from a strong background in the IoT sector, serving as CTO of Cubic Telecom which specialises in delivering connected software solutions to Automotive manufacturers such as Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda. Earlier on in his career he taught software design and testing in 28 countries for Ericsson, worked with Operator start-ups in Ireland and Jamaica, one of which became Three and helped establish Tesco Mobile in Ireland and Giff Gaff in the UK. Immediately prior to joining Wireless Logic, Dennis was the CTO at deep tech company Atlastica, which is dedicated to launching a global IoT ‘neutral bootstrap service’.
This announcement comes at a poignant time in Wireless Logic’s growth as CEO, Oliver Tucker explains, “As a company Wireless Logic has built its own core network and eSIM capabilities to meet the changing needs of customers.
