Scott Ellis
Vice President, Connectivity Sales, Americas, Telit
Scott brings over 20 years of experience developing and implementing successful sales, operational strategies and partner programs in the Machine-to-Machine (m2m/IoT) industry. He started at Telit in April of 2018 as the Director of Product Marketing and Carrier Relations. Scott maintained Telit’s partnerships with North American and Canadian carriers and strategic partners to drive business relationships and programs for the module business. Before joining Telit, Scott was an Associate Partner with 151 Advisors where he provided IoT partners with go-to-market strategy, business development and channel program design. Scott also served as Co-Founder and SVP of Sales for MODAS Systems, a startup company focused on billing, taxation and regulatory compliance for the m2m/IoT industry. Earlier in his career, Scott was the Director of Business Development at Raco Wireless, a leading provider of wireless products and services focused on the M2M industry. Scott led the Western U.S. sales team in building a large customer base with millions of connected devices throughout the region until Raco was acquired by Kore Wireless. Additionally, Scott was with the M2M channel at T-Mobile USA for nine years where he was a Regional Manager of Business Development and Sr. Manager of Operations.
Jeff Clemow
VP Strategic and Channel Sales, NA, Telit
Jeff Clemow is a dedicated executive with more than 30 years of experience, and currently leads as the Vice President of Strategic and Channel Sales for North America. He joined Telit in 2015 as the Director of NA Channel Sales and is now responsible for leading LTE High Cat and 5G business development and sales efforts along with distribution and eco-system partner channels. Prior to Telit, Jeff was with Digi International in multiple channel-related roles. He has an extensive knowledge of the growing M2M/IoT industry from many years of business development and sales around end to end complex wireless business solutions and enterprise business problem solving. Jeff holds a BS in Marketing & Economics from the University of Iowa, and an MBA from Webster University.
Francesco Cannone
Francesco Cannone received the Laurea degree cum Laude in Electronic Engineering, in 2005 and the Ph.D degree in Information Engineering from the Politecnico di Bari,Italy, in 2005 and 2009 respectively. From 2009 to 2015 he has been a Researcher with D.E.I — Politecnico di Bari. His main research interests are RF circuits and systems for healthcare services and medical devices. Since 2019, he has been the Chief of Technology Officer of Alpha Pharma Service. He has been the CEO and the Chief of Research and Development team of Emtesys since January 2016. The mission of this company is to develop and commercialize technologies in the healthcare field. He has been a member of the technical committee of SIMA (Società Italiana di Medicinadell’Ambiente) since 2017. He has been President of the consortium of the Italian companies named “Rete di Imprese Horizon” since June 2014. The mission of this consortium is to develop and commercialize technologies in the field of green economy. He is a reviewer and member of several Technical Program Committee and since 2012 he has been a member of the Organizing Committee of International Symposium of Innovation and Technology. Since 2013, he has been a member of the E-Health Scientific Committee within the project Bari Smart City. From 2008 to 2012, he was CEO of the company “Innovazione e Sviluppo Sostenibile srl” focused on green economy, in particular on technologies for renewable energy.
