The Cyber Resilience Act aims to cover all digital products and will impact all manufacturers and vendors that operate in the European Union. The main aspects it is trying to solve are 1) the lack of information about the products so buyers can make informed decisions and keep their products secure and 2) the overall improvement of devices' generic low-security level.

It is time to get a better understanding. The Cyber Resilience Act text is 338 pages long. If you need a useful recap, then this webinar hosted by BugProve is for you.

On the agenda, we will cover these key questions:

  • What are the product classifications?
  • What are the requirements?
  • What existing processes can help you get compliant?
  • How to prepare for what's coming?
  • What are the deadlines?
  • How can you set up efficient processes?

This will be a live Zoom webinar. We will have 40 minutes of keynote presentation, giving you an overview first, then actionable insights you can take home. We will discuss both processes, documentation, and some technical aspects of the regulation.

Then the floor is yours to ask questions. You can also send them in advance. The on-demand recording will be shared afterward with the participants.

Speakers Include:

Our speakers share decades of IoT security experience but come from very different backgrounds, so they can highlight different aspects of the regulation.

Cédric worked previously at ENISA, the European Union Cyber Security Agency, where he created the IoT cyber security domain, before he became a consultant.

Attila brings security research and pentesting experience, having worked at multiple companies as one. He understands what makes devices vulnerable and how to prevent security breaches.

Who should attend?

If you work at a company:

  • manufacturing products that connect to the internet
  • selling such products
  • manufacturing components for such products

...then this webinar is for you.
